Blues boss says pain of losing one of her twin babies will live with her

Hayes gave birth to a baby boy on Monday and will fly home to her son Harry for his third birthday

Chelsea Women's manager Emma Hayes has revealed that she has given birth to a baby boy.

Speaking from her home via Zoom, Hayes said that she had given birth on Monday and that she was "overwhelmed with joy".

"It's been a rollercoaster of emotions," Hayes said. "The pain of losing one of my twin babies will live with me forever, but I feel so lucky to have Harry and now our new baby boy.

Hayes also praised the support of her staff and players at Chelsea, saying that they had been "amazing" during her pregnancy.

"I'm so grateful for the support I've had from everyone at Chelsea," Hayes said. "They've been amazing and I couldn't have done it without them."

Hayes is expected to return to work in the next few weeks, and she is looking forward to getting back on the pitch with her team.
